Rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur, widely known by the monikers 2Pac and Makaveli, was from the United States. Many people think of him as one of the best rappers of all time. With more than 75 million recordings sold globally, Shakur is one of the most well-known musicians. Shakur is revered as a representative of action against injustice, and several of his songs have received accolades for speaking to current socioeconomic problems affecting inner cities. Shakur was born in New York City to Black Panther Party members and political activists. He moved to Baltimore in 1984 and the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988 after being raised by his mother, Afeni Shakur.. With the release of his debut album, 2Pacalypse He rose to prominence in West Coast hip hop in 1991, a year notable for its conscientious rap lyrics.

Later albums by Shakur, Me Against the World (1996) and Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. (1993), both garnered favourable reviews and enjoyed commercial success (1995). His Diamond-rated All Eyez on Me (1996) album abandoned his contemplative lyrics in favour of tense gangster rap.

Panther ancestry: Tupac Shakur

Afeni Shakur, who was born Alice Faye Williams in North Carolina, and BIlly Garland, Shakur’s true father, were both fervent Black Panther Party members in New York in the late 1960s and early 1970s.1960s and early 1970s.  A month before Hakur was born, his mother was being tried in New York City as part of the Panther 21 case. More than 150 charges against her were dropped. Other members of the Shakur family who were active in the Black Liberation Army were found guilty of significant crimes and sentenced to prison, including Mutulu Shakur, who spent four years on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. Mutulu Shakur was captured in 1986 and later found guilty for the 1981 heist of a Brinks armoured truck, which resulted in the deaths of two police officers and a security guard.

Education

Shakur’s mother struggled with drug addiction and had a hard time finding job in the 1980s.

His family relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, in 1984, leaving New York City behind. For eighth grade, he attended Roland Park Middle School, and for ninth, he attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School.He transferred schools in the ninth grade and enrolled at the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he studied jazz, dance, acting, and poetry. He would recall that he also played the Mouse King in the ballet version of The Nutcracker while acting in Shakespeare’s plays, which depicted eternal themes that are now evident in gang warfare.
